Starting December 15, 2025, the UAE-based airline will boost its Nairobi services to 14 weekly flights, building on the route’s success since its relaunch less than a year ago. In addition, Etihad will begin offering six weekly flights to the Seychelles in partnership with Air Seychelles from May 2025. The airline will also introduce daily Boeing 787 services to Casablanca and Johannesburg, enhancing connectivity to these vital African cities.
This growth strategy is bolstered by strategic partnerships.Etihad’s partnership with Ethiopian Airlines is set to transform travel connectivity between Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Through this collaboration, a new codeshare agreement will enhance both passenger and cargo services. Likewise, the partnership with Air Seychelles will offer smoother connections to picturesque destinations such as Praslin and Mauritius via Mahe.
